VMA 3km Track Championship

Location- Duncan Mckinnon Reserve athletics track Murrumbeena

The Victorian Masters 3km Championship is another event in VMA’s “Masters 30+ Team Championship” series.

As well as individual competition, Victorian based teams will be competing for points that

1.  will decide both the winning team for this event &
2. will count towards deciding which team will be the Masters 30+ Champion Team for the year.

10:30am for 11am start.  Given previous years numbers 2 events will be run based on submitted times.

To enter you need to be 30+ years of age and be a Masters’ affiliated athlete. Interstate and Overseas athletes are welcome to compete by invitation in the individual competition.  Any non-affiliated athlete who has not previously been a member will be required to join Victorian Masters Athletics – with the cost just $10/athlete. This affiliation also allows athletes to enter other VMA events throughout 2023 and you will also receive VMA’s bi-monthly magazine ‘Footprints’ which has a lot of information about VMA.

Medals will awarded to 1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd Victorian placegetters in all Masters age groups (Interstate & overseas athletes will receive invitation medals). In the teams’ competition every athlete in a team will have the ability to contribute points for their team as the measures used will be based around: (i) entering the event, (ii) events entered, (iii) performance – age graded, (iv) performance – estimated time.
