Glen Eira, Springvale and Mentone venues fought out the annual Legends Relay on Tuesday evening, 25th November. The relay comprised a 3.5km (run in lane 7 as use of the external public pathway is no longer practical), a 3,000m, a 2,000m ‘racewalk’, and a 1,000m run.

The overall winners were Glen Eira who won both the 50+ and 60+ categories. Mentone with a win in the Open category, and two second places were only one point behind Glen Eira.

The tradition of honouring venue members as legends has been changed to recognise one member from only one of the venues, in rotation, each year. This year’s honour was bestowed on Ross Kent from the Mentone Venue.
