Australia Day Honours – Heather Carr OAM
Since 1987 Heather has been dominating her age group in the walks  at the VMA, AMA and WMA levels establishing many records along the way. This along with her involvement in athletics administration and promotion has now been recognised  with Heather receiving  Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM). 
Truly deserved recognition, which the whole VMA community congratulate her on.
