World Athletics Track and Field Relay Events
as part of the World Championships in the Bahamas

Attached you will find the introduction of World Athletics Track and Field Relay Events as part of the World Championships in the Bahamas on 4th-5th May 2024.
There will be masters events within the championship. For those interested please complete the Entry Information Form and send it to Judy Farrell

Comment from president of AMA John Clark
Given the relay event is in Bahamas in May and the AMA World Championship is in Sweden in August there could be a very small group of athletes that maybe interested in making the May trip. At this stage we are trying to gauge what level of interest there maybe. There will be a selection panel set up if needed.
Events
The masters’ events will be
4×400 mixed relay ( 2 male, 2 female) as first choice
4×800 mixed relay (2 male, 2 female) as second choice The age groupings for each event will be
- 35-45
- 45-55
- 55-65
- 65+
