In our first river run for the summer season, we just avoided the flood peak and ran the Jeff Walker Handicap without getting our feet wet. Runners had to nominate their own handicap at the risk of being disqualified if they ran under it. No mistake was made in the 3km so we saw Jaime Bell cross the line first and claim the win just 1 second on the right side of the cut off time. In the 5km however most of the field was under the cut off while the winner Alan Jenkins nailed it crossing the line exactly on target. We welcomed new runner Anisha Davis.
