Sunday 28^th July saw the sixth running of the Winter Teams’ Track Challenge at Doncaster.  The predicted rain and hail held off to allow for a busy program of track events.  The day had something for all of the record 170 entrants.  It started with Box Hill’s John Meagher making a successful World Record attempt at the M60-64, 10,000m!  Our Victorian World Championship contenders had a last hit-out before departure to Gothenburg, and all members could test their progress on preparations for the upcoming summer season.  At day’s conclusion, almost 7pm, Glen Eira was declared emphatic victor of the Team’s Shield, and Casey winners of the Minor Shield.
