With ideal conditions for running with no rain no wind, Chris Grafen took out the 3km scratch race by more than the length of the straight from Andrew Edwards in 11min 36sec.

The two Jim’s (Berrington and Crawford) took out the 1500m relay walk last Tuesday by 5 seconds from Tony Doran and Peter McGrath.

We all hope that Graham Stockdale’s thumb is mending and less painful.

The fourth and final race of the Jim Sinclair 400m is next Tuesday. Julie Aylward, Janet Holmes, Bob Wishart and Jim Rountree all have a chance to take the title.
